Privacy Policy

ISOFT DEVELOPMENT GROUP, LLC ("PitPro POS," "we," "us," or "our") provides software for automotive service businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when an authorized owner or administrator uses the PitPro POS mobile application, related websites, and support services (collectively, the "Services").

1. Information we handle

Account and contact information

We process the account identifier you use to sign in, which may be a username or email address, together with the owner name, user ID, business, and authorized store associations maintained for your PitPro account. Your password is used to authenticate the sign-in request; PitPro does not store it in the mobile app or retain it as readable text.

Device, security, and notification information

We may process the device name, IP address, login timestamps and outcomes, secure session identifiers, notification preferences, and an Expo push token when you enable notifications. Push alerts may contain business-event information such as a store name, order identifier, completed-sale total, order count, or day-close summary.

Business and usage information

The app retrieves business-scoped operational information already maintained in PitPro POS, including location names, sales totals, order and vehicle counts, oil quantities, average ticket and service time, and staff clock activity. We also process the store, reporting period, refresh, and notification-setting requests you make so the app can return the requested view and remember enabled alerts.

• Authenticate owners and maintain secure sessions.
• Provide consolidated and store-specific dashboards and reports.
• Deliver optional completed-sale and day-close notifications.
• Protect accounts, investigate failed sign-ins, prevent abuse, and maintain service reliability.
• Respond to support, privacy, and account-administration requests.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable agreements.

3. How information is shared

We disclose information only as needed to operate the Services, including to infrastructure, hosting, security, email, and notification-delivery providers acting on our behalf. Optional mobile notifications use Expo notification services and Apple's Push Notification service, which receive the information needed to route a notification to the registered device. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information for third-party advertising, and we do not track users across other companies' apps or websites.

4. Retention

Mobile authentication sessions expire after 30 days and are removed when the app successfully signs out. Device registrations, notification preferences, security records, and operational account information are retained only while reasonably needed to provide and secure the Services, administer the business account, meet legal or contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain appropriate business records. Retention periods can differ depending on the record and applicable obligations.

5. Your choices and requests

You can keep completed-sale and day-close notifications disabled, turn them off in the app, or revoke notification permission in iPhone Settings. Authorized users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of applicable personal information by emailing support@pitpropos.com. We may need to verify the requester and may retain information where required for security, legal compliance, contractual obligations, or legitimate business recordkeeping.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. Mobile sessions use random bearer credentials, session values are hashed on the server, and the iPhone app stores its active session using the operating system's secure storage. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

7. Children's privacy

PitPro POS is a business application for authorized automotive-service owners and administrators. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the mobile app.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Services or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update its effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Services or account contact information when appropriate.
